Kids

Our goal is to train up kids as disciples of Jesus. We use the DiscipleLand Curricula and combine it with experienced, caring teachers who love God and teaching kids. We meet every Sunday morning at the same time as the other teaching venues in age appropriate small groups to study the Bible. All of our teachers are trained and have passed National Criminal Background checks. Check the Events Page for details on the location and times. They will be named Teaching Venues to make them easy to find. You will also find information about any other events happening with Living Waters Fellowship on there as well. Thanks!

 
We love kids and value having them join together with our adults and youth for prayer and worship at the beginning of our Sunday Morning Worship gathering. After the the worship time, our Pre-K through 5th graders go to KIDZ Church and experience a time of music, study, prayer and fun tailored for their ages! Pastor Barbara, who leads our KIDZ Church, has a background that includes a lifetime certification as a licensed K-8 teacher as well as being a credentialed pastor. KIDZ Church combines her passion for God and ministry to teach our kids to love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.

As part of our commitment to teach kids about God, we encourage them to check out our Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) program. JBQ is a national program that was created to help children develop a love for the Bible and an understanding that its truth can guide their lives daily. It offers a fun, exciting way for children to learn all-important truths in God’s Word. Children work together on teams to learn and understand questions and answers from a Bible Fact-Pak. Then using cooperative competition the children meet with other teams for a fun quizzing match. There are twenty questions in a match, with two teams of quizzers trying to beat each other to the buzzers to get the first shot at the answers. JBQ is one of the fastest growing discipleship programs for children. If you have any questions, please let us know.

 
Kid’s camp at the Assembly Park Bible Camp is one of the most exciting activities we do every year with our kids. It’s an amazing camp and introduces kids in grades 3-5 to the camp experience. They make new friends, have new adventures, swim and enjoy all the program activities. While enjoying God’s creation, kids learn new skills and learn about having a deeper more meaningful relationship with God.
